The charge for water furnished to each lot, parcel of land, building or premises situated within the corporate limits of the village having any connection with the municipal water supply shall be the following rates for the volume of water furnished for the billing period, but in no event less than the minimum monthly charge set forth in subsection (b) of this section:
(a) Water Rate: A rate per one hundred (100) cubic feet as set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities.
(b) Minimum Charge: A minimum monthly charge shall be paid for any lot, parcel of land, building or premises within the village having any connection to the municipal water supply based on the schedule of meter sizes and amounts set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities.
(c) Rate For Premises With More Than One Unit: Where the building or premises served contains more than one family dwelling unit or business establishment, the minimum rate for the premises shall be the minimum prescribed in subsection (b) of this section for each family unit or business establishment, even though the premises are served by one meter.
(d) Outside The Corporate Limits: The charges to premises outside the corporate limits served by the municipal water system shall be set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities.
(e) Water Purchased For Resale: Where water is purchased for resale the rate shall be as determined by the board of trustees. (Ord. 0-12-36, 10-1-2012)
