Every owner or operator of a motor vehicle who receives a license under this article shall receive at the time of payment of the fee a village license sticker or tag bearing the number and year for which the license is issued. Each village license sticker or tag shall be affixed to the inside front windshield of the vehicle in the lower right corner. In the case of motorcycles, motorized pedal cycles, motor driven cycles and antique vehicles, the tag shall be attached to the vehicle for which it is issued, in a conspicuous place so as to be readily readable at all times at which such vehicle is operated on any public highway in the village.
