The following words and phrases when used in this article shall, for the purpose of this article, have the meanings ascribed to them in chapter 1 of the Illinois vehicle code 1 as it may be amended from time to time:
(a) Antique vehicle.
(b) Bicycle.
(c) Bus.
(d) Charitable vehicle.
(e) Commercial vehicle.
(f) Motor vehicle.
(g) Motorcycle.
(h) Noncommercial vehicle.
(i) Owner.
(j) Passenger car.
(k) Recreational vehicle.
(l) School bus.
