Any motor vehicle owned or usually operated by a fireman may be equipped with not to exceed two (2) lamps which shall emit a blue light without glare. One such lamp may be mounted on the rear of any such vehicle. A flashing blue light may be used only when such fireman is responding to a fire call. (1963 Code, § 20.710)
