No member of the board of police commissioners shall be removed from office except for cause upon written charges and after an opportunity to be heard within thirty (30) days in his defense before a regular meeting of the president and board of trustees. A majority vote of the corporate authorities of the village shall be required to remove any such member from office. (M.C. 1963, § 8.305; amd. Ord. 0-67-57)
