Sec. 22-70. Loading Zones, Cab And Bus Stands:
   (a)   It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to stand a passenger vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary for the loading or unloading of passengers, not to exceed three (3) minutes, and for the driver of any freight carrying vehicle for a period of time longer than is necessary to load, unload and deliver materials, not to exceed thirty (30) minutes, in any place designated by the village board as a loading zone and marked as such, or in any of the following places:
      (1)   At any place not to exceed seventy five feet (75') along the curb before the entrance to any hospital or hotel at any time.
      (2)   At any place not to exceed seventy five feet (75') along the curb before the entrance to a public building between eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. and six o'clock (6:00) P.M. except on Sunday.
      (3)   Directly in front of the entrance to any theater at any time that the theater is open for business.
   (b)   The following areas are hereby designated as truck and commercial loading zones: (M.C. 1963, § 20.511)
      (1)   A space twenty five feet (25') long on the south curb of Deerfield Road being that space between seven hundred ten feet (710') and seven hundred thirty five feet (735') west of the centerline of Waukegan Road as measured along the centerline of Deerfield Road. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle other than a truck, commercial vehicle or freight carrying vehicle in any truck loading zone during the hours hereinafter named and it shall be unlawful to park any truck, commercial vehicle or freight carrying vehicle in such zone for a longer period than necessary to load or unload materials, not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes, in any event, between the hours of six thirty o'clock (6:30) A.M. and six thirty o'clock (6:30) P.M. on any day except Sundays and holidays.    (c)   No vehicle other than a licensed taxicab shall be parked in any area designated herein as a cab stand; and no vehicle other than a bus shall be parked in a place so designated as a bus loading zone.
      (1)   The following locations are hereby designated as cab stands:
         (A)   The west thirty one feet (31') along the north curb line of Deerfield Road, beginning at the northeast intersection of the Deerfield Road and the Shoppers' Court entrance curb line.
      (2)   The following locations are hereby designated as bus stands:
         (A)   The sixty feet (60') along the south curb line of Deerfield Road, beginning at a point ninety four feet (94') east of the southeast intersection of the Deerfield and Waukegen Road curb lines.
         (B)   The sixty feet (60') along the north curb line on Deerfield Road beginning at a point approximately one hundred sixty feet (160') west of the northwest intersection of the Waukegan and Deerfield Road curb lines. (M.C. 1963, § 20.511)
         (C)   The fifty feet (50') along the south side of Deerfield Road beginning at a point seven hundred fifty two feet (752') west of the centerline of Waukegan Road and continuing to a point eight hundred two feet (802') west of the centerline of Waukegan Road as measured along the centerline of Deerfield Road.          (D)   The three (3) parking spaces lying immediately to the west of the Milwaukee Road railroad depot in village lot 12 and so designated shall be reserved exclusively as a cab and bus loading zone. (Ord. 0-79-73, 11-19-1979)
         (E)   The sixty four feet (64') along the east curb of Park Avenue beginning at a point approximately one hundred ten feet (110') north of the centerline of Deerfield Road as measured along the centerline of Park Avenue.
         (F)   The sixty feet (60') along the east curb of Park Avenue beginning at a point approximately eighty feet (80') north of the centerline of Jewett Park Drive as measured along the centerline of Park Avenue. (Ord. 0-89-02, 1-3-1989)
   (d)   It shall be unlawful for the driver of a vehicle to load or unload passengers in any place designed by the village board as a no loading zone and marked as a no loading zone or as a pick up/drop off prohibited zone. The following areas are hereby designated as a no loading zone:
      (1)   The north and south sides of Summit Drive for its entire length, East Summit Court and West Summit Court, at: a) any time between seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. and four o'clock (4:00) P.M. on school days at Deerfield High School, and b) at any time during school events and activities at Deerfield High School, and for one hour immediately preceding and following such events and activities.
