Sec. 2-116. Appointment And Functions Of Professional Youth Worker:
   (a)   The village manager, upon consultation with the chief of police and youth council is authorized to appoint a person to the position of professional youth worker whose functions and responsibilities shall:
      (1)   Identify the youth problems in the village;
      (2)   Develop, implement, coordinate and maintain innovative, positive programs to solve these problems;
      (3)   Seek to accomplish these responsibilities by appropriate means and procedures including by research, education and training, by encouraging the advice, cooperation and support of all civic, social and religious organizations and the educational and governmental institutions which serve the youth of the village.
