Sec. 2-93. Stop Order Requirements:
   (a)   The director of community development or his designee shall have the power to order all work stopped on construction, alteration or repair of any building when the work is being done in violation of any provision of this code or any ordinance relating thereto, or in violation of the zoning ordinance.
   (b)   Work shall not be resumed after the issuance of such an order except on the written permission of the director of community development, provided, that if the stop order is an oral one, it shall be followed by written stop order within an hour. Such written stop order may be served by any police officer. (Ord. 0-88-42, 7-18-1988)
