(a) The width of driveways shall be measured either from the lot line adjoining a street or two feet (2') from the lot line into the public right of way in cases where a safety sidewalk exists on the site, as follows:
(1) For residential uses not less than nine feet (9') wide or more than eighteen feet (18') wide;
(2) For nonresidential uses not less than nine feet (9') wide or more than twelve feet (12') wide for a one-way driveway and not less than eighteen feet (18') wide or more than thirty feet (30') wide for a two-way driveway.
(b) For purposes of this section, "safety sidewalk" shall be defined as a sidewalk separated from the street by a parkway. (Ord. 0-87-47, 9-8-1987)
