(a) Permit Required: No person shall construct a driveway for vehicles or animals across any parkway, curb or sidewalk in the village without having obtained a permit therefor.
(b) Applications: Applications for such permits shall be made to the village manager and shall be accompanied by the fee required.
(c) Commercial: No person for the construction of a driveway for commercial use or for the regular use of any other than the owner or occupant of the premises served, shall be issued except upon the order of the board of trustees.
The fees for all commercial driveway permits required to be issued by the board of trustees are as provided in section 6-79 of this code and set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities.
Further, in order to ensure the public safety, prior to the issuance of a building permit to establish any permitted use, the specifics for pedestrian and vehicular ingress and egress shall be reviewed and approved by the board of trustees.
(d) Residential: Residential fees are as provided for in section 6-79 of this code and set forth in the annual fee resolution adopted by the corporate authorities. (Ord. 0-12-36, 10-1-2012)
