The village may, from time to time, enter into a reciprocal licensing agreement with other municipalities in order to eliminate duplication of public passenger vehicle and public passenger vehicle driver licensing and inspection. In the event that a reciprocal public passenger vehicle licensing agreement exists between the village of Deerfield and another municipality served by the same public passenger vehicle company and in order to operate within the village of Deerfield, the public passenger vehicle company shall comply with the provisions of this chapter.
