No person, firm or corporation shall engage in the business of a taxicab company, as defined in Article 1 of this Chapter, within the corporate limits of the Village; except in compliance with provisions of this Chapter. It shall be unlawful to engage in the business of a taxicab company unless such person has applied for and obtained a certificate of public convenience and necessity. (Ord. 0-91-55, 12-16-91)
