(a) No license shall be issued to do business as a food dealer in or on any premises excepting in a building within an area where the zoning ordinance permits such business. (1963 Code § 14.111)
(b) No person shall sell or offer for sale any food for human consumption on any street, alley or public way in the village, except that upon written application to the board of trustees by a not for profit entity operated solely within the village of Deerfield, the board of trustees may grant a twenty four (24) hour license to said applicant permitting said food sales as would be otherwise prohibited hereby. The board of trustees shall not grant more than one such special license in any single calendar year. (Ord. 0-77-36, 6-6-1977)
