Upon application by the petitioner, review and recommendation by the Community Development Group, the corporate authorities may grant variations from the strict provisions of this Article subject to compliance with the provisions of section 60.6a of the rules and regulations of the National Flood Insurance Program and upon compliance with such other conditions as the Village deems necessary to comply with the intent of this Article.
