(a) No person shall maintain or permit the existence of any dangerous building or dangerous excavation in the village.
(b) No person being the owner, occupant or person in custody of any dangerous building or dangerous excavation shall permit the same to remain in a dangerous condition.
(c) Any dangerous building or dangerous excavation in the village is hereby declared to be a public nuisance.
(d) The director of building and zoning is hereby empowered to make such inspections as may be necessary to see to the enforcement of this section, and to make any test or examination of materials, structures or other conditions to assist with the enforcement of this section.
