(a) The Village may, from time to time, and upon such terms and conditions as it deems proper, contract with any qualified persons, firm or corporation, to impound animals picked up by the Village. (Ord. 0-89-56, 12-4-89)
(b) Not later than twenty four (24) hours after the impounding of any dog, the owner shall be notified by mail sent to his address listed on the dog register book, or if the owner of the dog is unknown, notice shall be posted at the Village pound and at the Village Hall describing the dog and the time and place of taking.
