(a) No person shall present any public motion picture or theatrical performance in any building or structure which does not contain the number of exits required by this code, the ordinances of the village or by the statutes of the state of Illinois concerning buildings or places intended for such performances, or on premises in which the electric wiring does not fully comply with this code and the ordinances.
(b) All places used for the exhibition of theatricals must be kept adequately ventilated during the performance and for so long a time as the audience remains therein. (1963 Code § 13.708)
