§ 53.140 WRITTEN NOTICE OF DISCONTINUANCE.
   In each case, except those arising under § 53.139(A), (B), (C), (D) or (G), the utility shall give written notice of at least three days, either mailed to such customer at his or her address as shown upon the utility’s records, or personally delivered to him, her or a person on the premises, advising the customer of the reason for the proposed discontinuance of service and stating that service will be discontinued if the reason continues uncorrected. In cases provided for in § 53.139(A), (B), (C), (D) or (G), the utility may discontinue service without notice.
