Upon filing of a building permit application pursuant to section 10-3-2 of this chapter, the chief of police, or such other official as the city council may designate, shall promptly inspect the park, area or mobile home; verify the truth of the information contained in the application; and verify that all health, sanitation and safety requirements will be met and that all other requirements of law, agency regulation and this code will be complied with.
