A. Prohibited: No person shall build, establish, expand or maintain a private water supply system within the city unless there shall be no municipal water supply system as stated in section 8-1-4-1 of this chapter.
B. Variance: No person shall replace, or add a private sewer system within the city unless a variance has been granted.
C. Exception: Any private water supply system which is in place and operational as of January 1, 2006, shall not be subject to this section, provided the system is not used for human consumption and/or use and is not cross connected to the municipal water system. (Ord. 261, 3-21-2006)
