The construction of work within the public right-of-way such as sidewalks, driveways, streets, sewers, and the materials used therein shall be under the supervision of the City Engineer or his representative, whose duty shall be to see that all work constructed under the jurisdiction of §§ 100.50 through 100.74 is constructed in strict compliance with its provisions.
