§ 151.04 BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING THE SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREAS.
   (A)   The special flood hazard areas are those identified under the cooperating technical state (CTS) agreement between the state and FEMA in its flood insurance study (FIS) and its accompanying flood insurance rate maps (FIRM), for the county, dated 9-28-2007, which are adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter. The initial flood insurance rate maps are as follows for the jurisdictional areas at the initial date: Gaston County Unincorporated Area, dated 1-5-1980; Town of Dallas (5-1-1994).
   (B)   In addition, upon annexation to the town or inclusion into the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ), the special flood hazard areas identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and/or produced under the cooperating technical state agreement between the state and FEMA as stated above, for the unincorporated areas of the county, with accompanying maps and other supporting data are adopted by reference and declared to be part of this chapter.
