(a) The construction of buildings or structures intended for temporary or occasional use shall be subject to the provisions of this Building and Housing Code, except as otherwise herein provided. Application for the construction of any temporary building shall be made in writing to the Building Commissioner, shall state the location of the proposed building or structure, the name of the owner of the premises upon which it is to be located, the name of the owner of such proposed building, the use to which it is to be devoted, the periods of time when it will be used and occupied and the length of time it is to remain upon the premises. The application shall also contain an authorization to cause the buildings or structure to be removed and destroyed in case of the violation of any of the provisions of this Building and Housing Code.
(b) The building or structure shall be used by the owner, or permitted to be used, only in the manner and for the purposes specified in the application, and, when no longer needed for the purposes for which it was constructed, shall be promptly removed by the owner from the premises where located, and if not so removed within ten days after notice to do so by the Building Commissioner, shall be removed and destroyed by the Village.
