The Treasurer is hereby authorized to receive the Village's portion of the motor vehicle license tax, the two cents (2¢) per gallon motor vehicle fuel tax, the variable two cents (2¢) per gallon motor vehicle tax, and the additional two cents (2¢) per gallon motor vehicle fuel tax, and deposit the same in the General Fund to be credited towards and used in the construction and reconstruction of roads, highways, bridges and appurtenant structures in the Village.
