(a) All Service Department employees, except the Service Director, and all pool employees, including the Recreation Manager, shall be provided a mechanism for tracking their time spent performing job duties, and shall utilize that time tracking mechanism as directed to ensure that their time spent performing job duties is fully, accurately, and honestly recorded.
Compensation for portions of an hour shall be fixed as follows: the hours shall be divided into increments of fifteen minutes per hour with the employee to receive 25% of the hourly rate. The Service Director or Recreation Manager shall approve employee entries into such time tracking mechanisms prior to the payment of compensation for the employee. No employee shall modify, alter, or amend a time entry, unless necessary to make a correction, and any such correction must first be approved by the Service Director or Recreation Manager. No employee shall make a time entry for another employee.
(b) Administrative Assistant to the Mayor, Administrative Accounting Assistant, and the Administrative Assistant to the Chief and Police Services shall be provided a mechanism for tracking their time spent performing job duties, and shall utilize that time tracking mechanism as directed to ensure their time spent performing job duties is fully, accurately, and honestly recorded. No employee shall make a time entry for another employee.
(c) Violations of the foregoing rules shall subject the employee to immediate dismissal. No compensation shall be paid for time which is not indicated on the time cards showing the commencement and termination of the hours of labor claimed.
