254.01 VACATIONS.
   (a)   Except as otherwise provided in this Administration Code, or as set forth in a collective bargaining agreement in effect at the time that vacation time was earned, each person employed by the Village on a salary and on a full-time basis shall be entitled to a vacation, with pay, in accordance with the following schedule:
   Administrative: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
   0 through 1 year of service completed         0 working days (exception in subsection (e) hereof)
   start of 2 through 5 years of service completed      12 working days
   start of 6 through 10 years of service completed      21 working days
   start of 11 through 15 years of service completed      26 working days
   start of 16 years of service completed and beyond      33 working days

   (b)   Except as otherwise provided in this Administration Code or as set forth in a collective bargaining agreement in effect at the time that vacation time was earned, the following persons employed by the Village on a salary and on a thirty-hour or thirty-two hour per week basis shall be entitled to a vacation, with pay, in accordance with the following schedule:
Part-Time Dispatchers Hired Prior to May 11, 2005 (32 Hours Per Week)
      0 through 1 year of service completed            0 working days
      start of 2 through 5 years of service completed         10 working days
      start of 6 through 10 years of service completed         17 working days
      start of 11 through 15 years of service completed         21 working days
      start of 16 years of service completed and beyond         27 working days

   (c)   All vacations must be taken by Village employees during the calendar year of entitlement and shall not accrue from year to year. All Village employees who have served less than one year shall be entitled to no vacation.
