159.04 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

The Board shall assist City officials and City residents in the dissemination of news and information about housing code enforcement, housing assistance programs and maintenance of the housing stock and maintenance of residential values. The Board may study, investigate and advise City officials and City residents in matters pertaining to housing code enforcement, housing assistance programs and maintenance of the housing stock and maintenance of residential values. The Board may recommend any action, program or legislation which the Board shall find or determine to be necessary or advisable within the scope of its work. The Board may, when requested by Council or the Mayor, consider, investigate, make findings and report and recommend upon any special matter or question coming within the scope of its work.
