158.02 MEMBERS; TERMS.

   The Telecommunications Advisory Committee shall consist of seven members. City Council shall appoint four members who are electors of the City and have expertise in science, technology, economics, the arts, education and/or consumer affairs related to the telecommunications industry. These committee members shall serve a three-year term from the date of appointment provided, however, that the initial appointees shall be appointed for the following terms: one appointment for a one-year term; one appointment for a two-year term; and two appointments for a three-year term. Committee members may be reappointed for successive terms.

In addition to the four appointed members, the Law Director or his designee shall serve as a member and the President of Council shall appoint two members of Council to serve as members of the committee. The Council representative shall serve until the next reorganization of Council.
