157.02 MEMBERS; TERMS.

The City Tree Board as herein created shall consist of the following seven members: The Director of Public Service, the Law Director or his designated representative, a representative from City Council, and four persons, electors of the City, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. The four members appointed by the Mayor shall serve for a term of three years except that the term of one member appointed to the first board shall be for only one year and the term of one other member of the first board shall be only two years. Each member shall be subject to removal by the Mayor for good cause. In the event that a vacancy shall occur during the term of any member, his successor shall be appointed for the unexpired portion of the term.
