137.04 PLANNING DIRECTOR.

(a) Created. There is hereby created the position of Director of the Division of Planning to serve and be responsible to the Director of Community Development.

(b) Qualifications; Duties. The Director of Planning shall come under civil service and have the minimum requirements of a degree in planning, architecture, engineering or some other related field and a minimum of three years experience in city planning or government administration. He shall be in charge of the operation of the Division of Planning and responsible to the Director of Community Development.
