133.02 DIVISION OF NEIGHBORHOOD EXCELLENCE, COMMUNICATIONS, AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH.

   (a)   There is hereby created the Division of Neighborhood Excellence, Communications, and Community Outreach consisting of a Neighborhood Excellence, Communications, and Community Outreach Director; Neighborhood Excellence and Downtown Administrator; Public Utilities and Community Outreach Coordinator; Administrative Specialist and such other positions established by Council and/or collective bargaining agreements.

   (b)   The Division of Neighborhood Excellence, Communications, and Community Outreach shall perform the functions of planning, marketing, organizing and administering the Neighborhood Excellence Initiative in collaboration with Ward and At-Large City Council Members; planning and implementing events in Downtown Cuyahoga Falls in collaboration with community partners; marketing, branding, community relations, media relations, and community event management; and promoting citizen engagement and neighborhood empowerment within the City to build stronger neighborhoods with increased community involvement, communications, and community outreach.
