1359.04 ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS.
   Where there is electric service available from power lines, every dwelling structure shall be provided with approved electric service, outlets and fixtures which shall be installed and maintained so as to be free of any potential source of ignition of combustible material or any potential source of electric hazard, and be of adequate ampacity so as to satisfy the normal household loads which are placed upon it. Every habitable room shall contain at least two separate wall-type convenience outlets and such additional outlets as may be necessary to supply appliances used therein. Multiple converter plugs permitting two or more appliances to be plugged into the same outlet shall not be used. At least one receptacle of the grounding type shall be installed for the connection of laundry appliances. Receptacles installed in or on open porches, breezeways, garages and the like which may supply equipment to be used by persons standing on the ground shall be of the grounding type. Every water closet compartment, bathroom, laundry room, furnace room and public hall shall contain at least one supplied ceiling or wall-type electric light fixture. All outlets and fixtures shall be properly installed, and shall be connected to the source of power in an approved manner. When the Enforcement Authority determines it necessary, the dwellings shall comply with Tri-County minimum electrical standards for existing dwellings. All such installations shall be of the grounding type and installed in a safe approved manner.
