1319.99 PENALTY.
Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined at least one hundred dollars ($100.00) but not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both, for the first offense. Whoever is convicted of or pleads guilty to any violation of this chapter for a second offense or who violates any provision of this chapter knowing that a registration certificate has been revoked or who has violated any provision of this chapter and damaged a residential home in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree and shall be fined at least five hundred dollars ($500.00) but not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned at least ten days, but not more than six months, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
These penalties are in addition to any other civil remedies which any person may have at law or in equity.
