1319.01 REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

   (a)    Persons Required to Register. All persons, firms, corporations, partnerships, associations, and other entities engaged in the improvement of real property for monetary consideration, and including but not limited to the following crafts, trades or businesses: site construction, demolition, earthwork, utilities, drainage, paving, masonary, carpentry, general construction, metal fabrication, erection, waterproofing, insulation, roofing, siding, glazing, lathing, plastering, drywalling, tile setting, flooring, painting, decorating, sign building and erecting and landscaping shall be subject to the provisions of this chapter.

   No person, firm, corporation, partnership, association or other entity shall engage for hire or hold itself out as engaging in any of the above mentioned types of work without registering at the office of the Building Department on forms prescribed by the Chief Building Official.

   (b)    Property Affected. This Section shall apply to work performed on all commercial, industrial, and all residential property within the City, unless otherwise exempted.
