1317.02 PLUMBING LICENSES.
   (a)    Plumbing Contractors, Class A. A person, firm or corporation to whom a Class A plumbing contractor's license has been issued shall be entitled to engage in the business of and secure a permit for the installation, alterations, repairs, replacement, maintenance and service of all plumbing, wet heat, all piping, sewer tapping, sewer cleaning, hot water tanks and disposals as defined in OBBC Chapter 4101:2-51.
   (b)    Plumbing Contractors, Class A Special, High Pressure Piping. A Class A plumbing contractor may secure a plumbing contractor's Class A special license by presenting evidence that he has satisfactorily installed high pressure piping in accordance with high pressure piping as defined in the Ohio Basic Building Code and as the examining Board shall determine, without paying an additional charge.
   Any person, firm or corporation who or which has not been issued a Class A plumber's license may secure a plumbing contractor's Class A special license by furnishing satisfactory evidence that he is capable and has had sufficient experience as required by the Board, and by paying the prescribed fifty dollars ($50.00) Class A license fee, the proper permit fees and bond.
   (c)    Plumbing Contractors, Class B. Class B plumbing contractor's license shall specify the type of plumbing work the holder thereof is entitled to perform, which will authorize him to perform the specific type of plumbing work therein described in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Board and the provisions of this Building Code.
   Any person, firm or corporation to which a Class B plumbing Contractor's license has been issued shall be entitled to engage only in the business of and secure a permit for the installing, reinstalling, maintaining, altering or repairing or the plumbing, devices, fixtures or equipment involved in the installation, reinstallation, alteration, repair and/or maintenance of any of the following Class B licenses: wet heat, sewer tappers, drain and sewer cleaning, gas- fired unit heaters, hot water tanks and/or boilers, waste disposals, incinerators, water pumps, freezing refrigeration and/or air conditioning, all types of piping whether above or below ground for liquids or gases and such other Class B licenses as the Board may determine by adding, dividing or combining the specific work provided for herein or any similar type of work.
   It is expressly provided, however, that no person, corporation or firm possessing and operating under a Class B plumbing contractor's license may engage in the business of installing, maintaining or altering any plumbing, devices, fixtures, piping, controls or equipment except the type of work for which the examination was given, by virtue of and for which a specific Class B license was issued.
