1311.02 CREATION OF BUILDING TRADES LICENSING BOARDS.

   (a)   There is hereby created a Building Trades Licensing Board which shall establish qualifications and standards for all applicants for the respective Electrical Class A, warm air heating and air conditioning Class A, and plumbing Class A licenses upon matters relating to the qualifications of the applicant to engage in the business or businesses in the City.

   (b)   The Building Trades Licensing Board shall be composed of one licensed electrical contractor and one plumbing contractor, each of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor for a term of five years beginning January 1 and ending December 31, and the members of the Board of Building Appeals. In case of a vacancy, the Mayor shall appoint his successor to fill the unexpired term.

   (c)   The Electrical Contractors Examining Board, the Warm Air Heating and Air Conditioning Examining Board and the Plumbing Contractors Examining Board are hereby abolished. (Ord. 118-1999. Passed 7-26-99.)
