1309.27 REFUNDS.

   In the event that authorized work provided for by a permit is not started within six months, the permit shall become invalid and no refund shall be allowed.

   If application is made for a refund within six months and the work has not started, the fee may be refunded but twenty dollars ($20.00) of such amount shall be retained to pay the costs involved because of the issuance of the permit.

   In case of the revocation of a permit or abandonment or discontinuance of a building project, a refund shall not be allowed.
