1309.26 PERMIT FEES.

   No permit to begin work for new construction, alteration, addition, removal, remodeling, demolition or other building operation, or the installation of any device, apparatus or appliance shall be issued until the fees required by this section shall have been paid to the Department of Building and Zoning Inspection, nor shall an amendment to a permit necessitating an additional fee because of an increase in the estimated cost of the work involved and/or a change in area or error, be approved until the additional fee shall have been paid. The fee for a permit for a new building, structure or other miscellaneous items, and for a permit for the addition, alteration and remodeling of an existing building structure, miscellaneous item or other building operation, and for a permit for the installation of any device, apparatus, appliance or other item or part thereof not specifically provided for elsewhere, shall be as provided by Council from time to time and on file with the Department of Building and Zoning Inspection. Ordinary repairs as defined in the currently adopted Building Codes shall not require a permit.
