1309.12 TIME LIMITATION ON APPLICATION.

   An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned six months after the date of filing, unless such application has been diligently prosecuted or a permit has been issued, or substantial completion of twenty-five percent of the basis for the issuing of a permit has not been completed within the six months of the issuance thereof; except that for reasonable cause the Building Official may grant one or more extensions of time for additional periods not exceeding ninety days in all.
