945.08 REPURCHASE OF PLOTS OR NICHES BY CITY; CONVEYANCE TO OTHERS PROHIBITED.
(a) If the owner of a plot or niche moves his residence from the City permanently or has a reason otherwise acceptable to the Director of Public Service, the City may buy back a plot or niche at fifty percent (50%) of the current resident rate. In the case of a resident permanently removing his residence from the City the resale provisions shall be waived by the Director if the grave owner so desires and the plot or niche retained by the owner upon application to the Office of the Director where the owner deems it appropriate.
(b) The plot or niche owner is restricted from conveying any and all plots and/or niches he owns to any other person, association, or corporation whatsoever other than the City, except as provided in Section 945.15.
