903.09 WHITE LINES DESIGNATING SIDEWALK AREAS.
   The Director of Public Safety shall cause white lines to be painted designating sidewalk areas for pedestrian use in and along all areas within the City wherein blacktop, asphalt, macadam or other hard surfacing compounds or materials, exclusive of concrete, have been used to surface the street rights of way between the curb or ditch line and the line of private property where such sidewalk areas are not appropriately designated and clearly visible.
   This section shall apply to those areas wherein surfacing was accomplished prior to the effective date of Ordinance 97-1960, passed 5-9-60.
