757.02 CHARITABLE SOLICITATIONS; REGISTRATION REQUIRED, CHURCHES EXEMPTED.

   No person shall solicit contributions for any purpose within the City without registering with the Mayor, as the Director of Public Safety. However, the provisions of this section shall not apply to any establishment organized and operated exclusively for religious purposes and not operated for the pecuniary profit of any person if the solicitations by such establishments are conducted among the members thereof by other members or officers thereof, voluntarily and without remuneration for making such solicitations, or if the solicitations are in the form of collections or contributions at the regular assemblies or services of the establishment.
