557.06 SWEEPING LITTER INTO GUTTERS PROHIBITED.

No person shall sweep into or deposit in any gutter, street or other public place within the City the accumulation of litter from any building or lot or from the public sidewalks. Nor shall any owner or tenant abutting a public thoroughfare allow or suffer to remain litter upon the adjacent public sidewalk including "devil strips", so that litter, rubbish and refuse shall not be allowed to pile up or accumulate on such public right of way.
