521.07 POSTING FOOD CHOKING TECHNIQUE INSTRUCTIONS.
   (a)   Each retail food service operation within the City, which in the usual course of business allows patrons to consume purchased food upon the business premises, shall post a copy of the instructions issued and approved by the Director of Health, and detailing first aid techniques designed and intended for use by a person without medical training in removing food which has become lodged in the throat of a choking victim.
   (b)   Each food service operation covered under subsection (a) hereof, shall post the instructions in a place or in places conspicuous to persons employed by or connected with the management of such food service operation in order that such persons may become familiar with the techniques and may consult the instructions to provide relief to a choking victim.
   (c)   The Fire Chief shall procure and maintain an adequate supply of such instructions at each fire station within the City, and shall make the instructions available to the owner or operator of the retail food service operations so affected.
