505.22 APPEAL PROCEDURE.
   (a)   The owner of a dog who has been served with a notice that the dog has been determined to be aggressive may, within seven days after receipt of such notice, make a written demand to the Director of Public Safety for a hearing on the question of whether the dog is aggressive. Every effort should be made to hold a hearing no later than fifteen days following receipt of a written demand to the Director of Public Safety and at least three days’ notice of the hearing shall be given to the individual who made the written demand for the hearing.
   (b)   If the owner, keeper or harborer of a dog determined to be dangerous or vicious, as applicable, seeks to appeal the determination, the owner, keeper, or harborer may request a hearing in the Stow Municipal Court pursuant to Ohio R.C. 955.222(C).
