A. Gas Fitter Authorization: When necessary to turn the gas off, the gas fitter shall use the meter cock or line cock which affects only part of the piping of a single customer; he shall not turn the gas off at the service cock or curb cocks unless authorized to do so by the gas company.
B. Notify Customers To Shut Off Appliances: Before gas is shut off from any line or piping, the gas fitter shall notify all customers whose service is affected to shut off all appliances and cocks and warn them to keep them shut off until advised that service has been restored. (Ord. 15.28)
