A. Quality Of Materials: Pipe used shall be standard full weight of the best quality wrought iron or steel and free from defects. All fittings (except stopcocks or valves) shall be of the best quality of malleable iron.
B. Inspection: Materials delivered on any job shall be carefully inspected by the gas fitter in charge of the work, and any part of such materials which is defective or which has been repaired with cement, lead or other material or by caulking or other methods, except welding, shall not be used.
C. Used Materials: Pipe, fittings, cocks, valves, or accessories removed from any installation shall not be used again unless they have been thoroughly cleaned, inspected and ascertained to be equivalent to new material. (Ord. 15.28)
