A. Application Of Provisions; Exception:
1. The following provisions of this chapter are intended to apply to the installation of gas piping in and about all buildings.
2. The provisions of this chapter do not apply to the underground distribution leading into the buildings, but only to such parts of the piping on the outlet side of the meter.
3. All mains in streets and alleys, together with the service pipes up to and including the meter, shall be installed and maintained by the gas company.
B. Compliance Required: This chapter shall apply to all installations within the city and shall be complied with before gas service can be obtained. (Ord. 15.28)
