§ 3.07.045 MULTI-YEAR CONTRACTS.
   Unless otherwise limited by the City's Charter, this Code or applicable state or federal law, the term of a contract shall be as set forth in the contract, and may include extensions as authorized in the contract. The Purchasing Officer may approve a multi-year contract; provided, the annual value of the multi-year contract does not exceed the Purchasing Authority. Otherwise, multi-year contracts shall require the approval of the City Council. In the event the same vendor has been utilized for a period of five consecutive years, the informal or formal bidding procedures as set forth in §§ 3.07.070 and 3.07.075 of this Subchapter shall apply. This § 3.07.045 shall not apply to purchases subject to the exceptions set forth in §§ 3.07.055.A through 3.07.055.G.
