§ 70.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person convicted of violating the provisions of this chapter for which no specific penalty is  provided is guilty of an offense and upon conviction shall be fined as provided in § 10.99.
   (B)   The Town Council adopts the following fines, fees, and late charges related to traffic and other violations of the town code:
      (1)   Penalties:
         (a)   Parking or U-turn (town street)   $50

         (d)   Parking (fire lane)   $95
         (e)   Speeding:   15 MPH and under   $75

      (2)   In the event that the town prevails at the trial of a matter described in subdivision (A)(1) of this section, the town shall also be awarded attorney fees, as well as the fines, fees, late charges, and penalties set out herein.
      (3)   The governing entity for the setting of fines, fees, late charges, and penalties for traffic and other regulations shall henceforth be the Town Council.
      (4)   The Clerk-Treasurer of the town shall be responsible for collecting all fees, fines, late charges, and penalties set forth in division (A) of this section.
      (5)   The fines, fees, late charges, and penalties collected pursuant to division (A) of this section shall be deposited in the general fund and used for the purposes allowed by ordinance for that fund.

   (C)   Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provision of § 70.31 shall be subject to penalties as set forth in §§ 70.02 and 70.99, or for which a penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $2,500.  (See § 10.99)  In addition, any vehicles in violation of any provision of § 70.31 shall be subject to impoundment.

   (D)   A violation of any provision of §§ 70.50 through 70.60 shall constitute a violation of the town code.  An owner, lessee, or operator may be cited to appear in court of competent jurisdiction by issuance of an Indiana uniform traffic ticket.  Upon a finding by such court that an owner, lessee, or operator of a golf cart or UTV has violated any provision of this §§ 70.50 through 70.60, such person shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $200 for each offense along with court costs in the amount as same now exists or may hereafter be determined by ordinance or statute.

   (E)   Any person, firm, or corporation who violates any provision of Ch. 71, Sch. I, shall be subject to penalties as set forth in § 70.02 and 70.99, or for which a penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding $2,500.
